Fill in the Get a Quote questionnaire
Choosing a deal takes you straight to the questionnaire with the package already attached. It asks about your roof, your switchboard, your electricity usage and your rebate eligibility — and you can upload photos and your latest bill as you go.

We make it happen
We check your answers, confirm the package suits your roof, lodge your rebate paperwork and book the install. If a package doesn't fit, we tell you and design one that does.
Where we install
Solar, batteries, EV chargers and hot water across Victoria
Every system in Victoria is installed by our own CEC-accredited team, not subcontracted out. That is the same crew whether you are ten minutes from the CBD or three hours from it.
Metropolitan Melbourne
North, east, south-east, west, bayside and the inner suburbs. Most metro installs are a single-day job once your rebate and grid pre-approval come through.
Geelong and the Surf Coast
Geelong, the Bellarine and along the coast. Coastal sites need corrosion-rated racking, which we specify as standard rather than as an upgrade.
Ballarat and Bendigo
Central Victoria and the goldfields. Colder winters make heat pump hot water and battery-backed systems worth sizing differently to a Melbourne install.
Mornington Peninsula
From Frankston to Portsea. A high proportion of three-phase supplies here, which changes the inverter and the export limit available to you.
Gippsland and the east
Latrobe Valley through to East Gippsland. Longer grid runs and more frequent outages make backup capability worth discussing before you choose a battery.
Regional and rural Victoria
Anywhere else in the state. Rural properties often have larger roofs and higher daytime use, so the sizing rules that suit a suburban home rarely give the best result.

Solar rebates, eligibility and what happens next
The questions we are asked most before a deal is booked.
How much is the Victorian solar rebate in 2026?
Solar Victoria offers eligible households a solar panel (PV) rebate of up to $1,400, plus an optional interest-free loan of up to $1,400 that is repaid monthly over four years. Both are applied by your retailer, so they come off the invoice rather than being claimed back later. We confirm your eligibility before you commit to anything.
Who is eligible for the Solar Victoria rebate?
Eligibility is assessed by Solar Victoria on combined household income, property value and whether the address has claimed before. From 1 July 2026 the income threshold is $150,000 per year, reduced from $210,000. The property must be valued under $3 million and must not have received a solar panel rebate previously. You must not install before your application is approved.
Is there still an interest-free loan for a home battery in Victoria?
No. Solar Victoria is no longer taking applications for interest-free loans for solar battery systems. Battery support now comes through the federal Cheaper Home Batteries program instead. Any quote that prices a battery using a Victorian battery loan is out of date.
Do you install anywhere in Victoria, or only Melbourne?
Anywhere in Victoria. Systems across the state are installed by our own accredited team rather than subcontracted out, covering metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria including Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland.
What is included in a fixed-price solar deal?
Design, installation, all mounting and electrical components, compliance paperwork, grid connection and your rebate paperwork. Each deal lists the exact panels, inverter and battery it uses, with their datasheets, so you can check the equipment before speaking to anyone.
What if my roof does not suit a package?
We tell you, and design a system that does. Packages assume a single-storey house with a simple tile or tin roof. Two-storey homes, complex roof shapes, limited switchboard space or heavy shading all change the design, and the quote is done from scratch at no cost.
How long does a solar installation take?
Most residential systems are installed in a single day. The longer part is before that: rebate approval from Solar Victoria and pre-approval from your distributor, which is usually a few weeks. We lodge both for you.
Can I add a heat pump hot water system or an EV charger at the same time?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper done together because the electrical work overlaps. A heat pump hot water system running on your daytime solar is typically the single largest cut to a power bill after the solar itself, and an EV charger set to charge from surplus solar costs nothing to run during the day.
